The sermon is about how the love and grace of God (which includes Jesus Christ, His Messiah) transforms a person’s life and makes them a child of God. Don’t try to become another person – all saints have unique paths.

Good sermon about the parable of the landowner. God doesn’t forgive partially. When you repent through Jesus Christ, His Messiah, your relationship with Him is completely restored and on equal footing with those who have been in compliance with God’s will longer.

Sermon about forgiveness. Makes me think how important it is to pray for God’s mercy to achieve that on a daily basis. Also discussed is Virginia’s “Virginia Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment” (Ballot Question 1) coming up in the 2026 election cycle in Virginia.

Woke Constitutional Amendments to be Voted on in Virginia

Posted in News, Thoughts of the Day, tagged , , , , , , , , , , on July 26, 2026| Leave a Comment »

These amendments remind me of the disastrous Prop 1 in New York in 2024. The amendments use broad and vague wording. The effect of the amendments reaches far beyond what it seems. The “Virginia Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment” does not exclude the “fundamental right to reproductive freedom” based on age, thereby potentially nullifying statutory rape laws. https://www.dailysignal.com/2026/07/22/virginias-abortion-amendment-would-strike-down-statutory-rape-laws-warns-lawsuit-seeking-invalidate-deceptive-language/
I fear these amendments will be used to criminalize the dissent coming from Christianity and Judaism, leaving wokeism as the only allowable worldview in the eyes of the state. Wokeism may not be an official religion, but it operates as one. Adherents seem to believe that theirs is the only right and virtuous voice. And they once again appear to be hell-bent on silencing the opposition and possibly prosecuting them if they fail to buy-in.

Writing Update 4/28/26

I’m doing a podcast of my reading through Labyrinth. It’s pretty fun yet work intensive. I am doing it straight through without editing, so you can hear the pages rustle. Plus, I have to correct myself on occasion. But I like the natural feel of a human voice these days.

I’m editing Mind Master Chronicles: Butterfly. Alas, I wrote the scenes based on which I felt inspired by. So now, I have to pay the price and put them in order!

I’ve been giving out some signed copies of Beginnings. I also have business cards of the cover. I’ve gotten good feedback on this book, which I appreciate! The third book is being typed right now. Strangely, when I filled up notebook 2, I numbered notebook 3 wrong. I wrote 193 when it was 293. I’m thinking maybe I took some time off before I finished it? Either way, it didn’t dawn on me until recently that I wrote a longer book. (rofl) I refer to the third book as Beginnings 2. It has a more creative name, but I don’t want an AI bot to steal it! 😀
