I’m up to page 82/153 in retyping Butterfly. Three pages are typed per session. With my health issues, it’s difficult to get everything I want to do done. I don’t write as much as I’d like. I particularly don’t get far with posting updates. Today has been a more productive day for me than usual. So, here’s the update.
One of the things I’m working on now is informing people state by state of where they stand with water cremation, POST or MOST forms and AI data centers. All three of these agendas have gone forward with little or no public feedback. I started with Indiana, which is set to have a whopping 72 AI data centers. I plan to do Florida next. Here is some information on Indiana:
Water Cremation (Indiana) legalized on July 1, 2025. The argument seems to be mainly about carbon footprint. I suspect land conservation is also a motivation since burial has to cause less of a carbon footprint than water cremation. The water cremation process destroys the DNA of the flesh and softens the bones. The softened bones are then cremated. Traditional cremation can have bone fragments which may contain DNA or the process can destroy the DNA. I’m unsure whether any DNA can be left behind in water cremation. The liquefied flesh is then disposed of as medical waste and the cremated remains are dealt with as the people with legal authority over the remains see fit. A major problem I see with this is that ultimately the living will choose how the remains of the dead are treated. While I would prefer to see the legal status of water cremation repealed in Indiana, in the very least this option should only be allowed if a living person chooses it with a notarized signature before their death. Neither the state nor the estate of the deceased should be able to use this option if the deceased in question didn’t give permission via notarized signature for it before their death. Instead, only prior options such as burial should be permissible. The state should also respect the sanctity of cemeteries no matter how valuable the land is.

POST (Indiana) Physician Orders for Scope of Treatment active as of July 1, 2013.
The POST form from Indiana is voluntary and based on the current health level of the patient. Patients who fit the following criteria qualify: “A qualified person is an individual who has at least one (1) of the following:
(1) An advanced chronic progressive illness.
(2) An advanced chronic progressive frailty.
(3) A condition caused by injury, disease, or illness from which, to a reasonable degree of medical certainty:
(A) there can be no recovery; and
(B) death will occur from the condition within a short period without the provision of life prolonging procures.
(4) A medical condition that, if the person were to suffer cardiac or pulmonary failure, resuscitation would be unsuccessful or within a short period the person would experience repeated cardiac or pulmonary failure resulting in death.”

“A patient with capacity or their legal representative may void a POST form at any time by communicating that intent to the health care provider.” The form allows a breathing patient with a pulse to forego antibiotics, water and food. Medical professionals are directed to offer food and water by mouth “if feasible.” The POST form is administered by the patient’s physician. The form requires the patient’s signature or legal representative’s signature and the physician’s signature, though there is no mention of it being notarized.
https://www.indianapost.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Indiana-POST-Form.pdf

The POST form goes beyond a DNR. If the form is only partially filled out, consent to everything on the form is implied. Obviously an unconscious person who is alone can’t void the form. Medical care professionals are expected to fulfill the desires of the patient expressed in the form. Qualification includes the sick and disabled not just the terminally ill. The term “short period” is not defined. This is really assisted suicide through starvation, dying of thirst and infection, and that’s if the patient has capacity at the time the previously signed form is implemented.

AI Data centers (Indiana) Indiana is set to have 72 AI data centers. They are massive in size, massive in causing pollution to the air and water and require a massive amount of energy and water to run. Odd that some of the data centers are being built by people who claim to be environmentalists. Human beings are already losing jobs to AI. It is not hard to imagine we will soon be competing with AI for resources we need to survive such as energy. water, space for housing and farmland for food production. Has anyone done a feasibility study to see if we can support our current human population and the intended AI data centers? Is there currently any regulation?

I’ve started the arduous process of reading the “Bipartisan House Task Force Report on Artificial Intelligence.” https://republicans-science.house.gov/_cache/files/a/a/aa2ee12f-8f0c-46a3-8ff8-8e4215d6a72b/6676530F7A30F243A24E254F6858233A.ai-task-force-report-final.pdf
I’m going to make notes as I slog through this largely incomprehensible piece of propaganda. (Page iii):
The opening letter tells us that AI could improve the economy and society. Anticipated successes are more efficient manufacturing, increased productivity and cures for diseases. The letter allows that AI can be “misused” and cause “harm.” No specifics are given. The letter then references the credentials of the contributors to the report. “In summary, this report encapsulates a targeted approach that balances the need to promote vibrant AI innovation while safeguarding Americans from potential harms as we enter an era of widespread adoption of AI.”
My thoughts: Clearly, the end goal is widespread adoption of AI. The consequences, unspecified, will be dealt with as they come up. That’s why I call it propaganda as the report’s purpose is to convince people to accept moving forward with AI. No discussion required. Increased productivity and more efficient manufacturing usually lead to less jobs and poorer working conditions for the worker, who will now be competing with AI for employment. What jobs will be left for human beings and how many? AI clearly benefits corporations over workers. The letter mentions cures for diseases but fails to mention the potential diseases caused by AI data center pollution. We will see if the report continues to be vague and obtuse as it continues.

Thank you for reading this. I thought people needed to be informed.
Please pray that this prayer effort bears good fruit according to God’s will. Please pray for God’s intervention. The more prayer and the more people informed the better. Thank you for your time and may God bless you,

I don’t have a problem with saying “Happy Holidays” referring to the holidays in December, but I’ve never heard so many advertisers go out of their way not to mention Christmas. We have a right to celebrate Christmas and the Jewish people have the right to celebrate Hanukkah. Just mention the specific holiday as well as the umbrella term, holidays. Though, the commercialism of the season isn’t the point of Christmas and Hanukkah, it bears reminding the advertisers that the spiritual meaning behind these celebrations inspired people to give gifts in the first place. And it also bears mentioning the meaning behind Christmas and Hanukkah is God.

Meanwhile, my e-books are free on the Smashwords sale. I’m thinking of making Contagion Phase 1: Biosphere into Book 3. Beginnings is really Book 1. I hadn’t planned on writing the third book, but right now Books 2-4 all go together, and Biosphere is more of a spin-off. But then, I’ll to see how hard it is to change it.

Meanwhile, the content editing (editing round 1 of 3) of Mind Master Chronicles: Butterfly is progressing, but it’s time consuming. I have to make sections I wrote out of order all flow together. Plus, I have to write sections to fill in the gaps. I do five pages at a time. It will take at least three months for it to be ready.

I feel slow, but really what do I have to compare it to? I finally got Contagion Phase 2: Beginnings done and published. I am starting the editing on Mind Master Chronicles: Butterfly (Book 4). I’m not sure when I’ll be done with that one as the content of Book 5 got mixed in with Book 4. Mainly, my time has been limited by the four trips I’ve had to the hospital this past year. I’ve also been doing a lot of physical therapy for Super Stump (right leg/ amputee) and Lefty (left leg/ stroke survivor). God helped me figure out I have a beef allergy in addition to my gluten allergy. Both flare my ulcerative colitis. Usually, it’s hard to pinpoint a trigger. This time I was able to. And before this I didn’t realize one could be allergic to beef. I’m still writing as much as I can. Right now, it’s four books but not every day. I’m entering my six e-books into the Smashwords End of the Year sale for free.

The only thing Apple accomplished with that desecration of the Holy Eucharistic bread scene in the Your Friends & Neighbors episode is encouraging the bullying of Catholics, some of whom have been their loyal customers for years, and the encouragement of the desecration of the Holy Eucharistic bread, where Jesus Christ is present. When you suffer from an ideology that has no truth in it, you mock and bully the one that does. Obviously the Apple company has put hatred and toxic ideology over business considerations. There are plenty of bad acts Apple TV wouldn’t dare depict on TV lest it be seen as encouraging the behavior. Encouraging the bullying of Catholics and the mocking of Jesus Christ is apparently fair game in the eyes of some ideological radicals.
Apple is trying to normalize the bullying of Christians and the desecration of the Holy Eucharistic bread. I can’t see where a company which shows such ugly disrespect for its own customers has many prospects for growth in the future.

Please write a letter to Apple TV asking for an apology and removal of the offending and irrelevant scene.

I’ve added more books to my writing regime, but I’m only doing a page a day of any one book. My priority is getting Biosphere 3 done regularly, but I’m chipping away at four others now. It keeps things interesting, and I don’t want to lose that inspirational feeling. Writing is a discipline like exercise, it becomes easier to establish a routine with it the more you do it. But notice that is easier not easy.

I am almost done with round 2 of 3 of editing of Beginnings. Butterfly typing has been increased to 4 pages a day. I proofread 5 pages a day of the typed pages to catch up on the time I lost.

Physical therapy takes a lot of time. Super Stump and Lefty (left foot) are making a lot of progress with standing. I’m opting for a walker rather than a prosthetic.

When I shelved books at a local library (in the liberal state of Minnesota) years ago, young adult was Sweet Valley High. The content is a lot more mature now. Bookstores have mature content in the children’s section. That’s why I decided to list all my books as adult fiction. I figure no one will know what ya means anymore.

Meanwhile, I’ve gotten back into a routine of writing, editing and typing. So, I’m making progress.

Enabling Addiction Is Not Love

Drug addiction is one of the few things people can get involved in that is still considered a problem — something that needs to be repented of. Still, there are efforts to normalize even this behavior despite the fact that it’s obviously self-destructive and destructive of others. The consequences can be rather overt. Drug addicts rarely claim to be happy people. The high doesn’t last. The withdrawal is crushing, and it almost always requires debasing yourself to finance it.

And yet, there are always people who equate unconditional love with unconditional support of the addiction. And it’s true that the addict believes the codependent enabler is the person who loves them the most while they are in the throes of the addiction. But in actuality, it is the person willing to risk losing the relationship if the person doesn’t repent who truly loves the addict. And if the addict repents, they almost always see that.

The same is true for other addictions as well, including the addiction to sin in general. Love is wanting to see a person freed from the addiction from the high — free to reconcile themselves with God.

Using a person’s addiction to gain control and influence over them, so you can artificially become their “special person” isn’t love. In other words, encouraging or enabling them to sin, so they’ll need you and, therefore, make you feel special isn’t love.

The Evil of New York’s Proposal 1! Vote NO!

Proposal 1 coming up for vote in New York is evil. It’s an attack on religious freedom. Many people in the past came to this country to escape religious persecution — to avoid having to choose between their lives and God. One of the major components of the US Constitution is protecting citizens from having to make that choice. Proposal 1 aims to replace a real Constitutional right (freedom of religion) with new rights based on their woke pseudo-religion. The woke aren’t content with their own free will. They are bent on forcing their will on others under penalty of law, if need be. The woke don’t respect other people’s religious beliefs. If you don’t agree with wokeism, you will be made to pay. Don’t want to kill an unborn child? Too bad, no exceptions, according to Kamala Harris. Don’t want your child groomed for pedophilia? Physically mutilated in the name of gender identity politics? Too bad. The children don’t have to have to have their parent’s consent, nor do the parents have the right to know. So after the children are brainwashed by perverted adults, they can be easily conditioned to be exploited by them.

The states think they own your children. In fact, they already think they own everyone who resides in those states. And they want to own everyone in the country, too.

I’ve become convinced it’s not okay to abandon dissenters in woke states to woke tyranny — to woke people, who don’t respect other people’s free will and autonomy. What if residents in places like New York and California can’t just leave? They are fellow US citizens and their and their children’s Constitutional and God-given rights are being stripped away from them. Even more disturbing, what if the Dems take the presidency, the US House and Senate, and thereby pack the Supreme Court with woke justices? Then, they can rule against the states on every decision. Then, there will be nowhere for anyone in this country to run to. Then, we’ll all be in the same position as those in New York. I hope those trapped in New York are able to dodge this latest bid at total woke tyranny! I hope all Christian and Jewish people pray and vote and conscientious objectors vote against this latest attack against our freedom. Vote Republican down the ballot! And if you live in New York vote “NO” to Proposal 1!
